05.08.2026CaroleOrdered 2 pairs of boots in the sale section. The first pair: the boxing boots arrived within 2 or 3 days, all good, boot were in their box with the paper stuffed inside, visibly brand new.
However, the second pair, stilleto boots, arrived only today. The box ripped and flattened and unfortunately the boots look like they were returned by a customer after having been at least tried on and at worst worn once as the sole is dirty. The paper that should have been stuffed inside the boots and even the reinforced cardboard usually placed in the toe area was not present at all. This is very disappointing to be sent 'used' or tried on boots that the returned team at Schuh visibly don't check and put back in decent order before sending on to the next customer who is expecting brand new and certainly not visibly used items.
Not happy about this.

Received the first pair within 2 days, the boots were well packaged in their box with the cardboard toe reinforcement and paper stuffed in them as your expect new boots to be.
Unfortunately, the second pair arrived only today and the total opposite. They were visibly a previous return to Schuh from a customer and had not been checked before being shipped on to another customer, in this case me.
The boots have visibly been tried on or worn once as they have dirty soles, there are some scratched on 1 side of 1 boot which I hope will just wipe off.
The paper stuffing that I expect to find inside a brand new pair of boots was outside of the boots in the box, and there was only 1 piece from 1 boot.
The box itself arrived bashed up, torn and squashed up which already didn't give me a good impression. The worn boot inside were the justification. NOT IMPRESSED SCHUH!!
